"Funk Evolution made our wedding day the BEST DAY EVER! My husband and I live in Boston, originally from NY, and we listened to quite a few bands in both areas. Funk Evolution's musical talent, energy level and fun is not comparable to any other bands we listened to.
In addition to their amazing music, Rocco is an absolute sweetheart to work with and he really takes the time to get to know his bride and groom. We had some tough circumstances prior to our wedding that forced us to delay it for a year. He was extremely supportive and used the length of time as an opportunity to really get to know us, and we consider him a friend. "My wife and I cannot speak highly enough of Funk Evolution! To begin with, they are not a "wedding band"....they are an amazing band that just happens to also play weddings. Being huge music fans, we are not a couple that's easily impressed, so when we got engaged we knew that finding the right band was one of our most important missions. We heard about Funk Evolution from a friend, and went to check them out at a Halloween show. Seeing their energy and stage presence sold us immediately, and it was not long until we had them booked to play our big day!

"Ron and I got married in July of 2013 and when looking back and talking to friends we can honestly all agree that the highlight of the night was the live entertainment of Funk Evolution! Not only are they an extremely talented group of individuals but their personalities are one of a kind.
We booked Funk Evolution a year in advance and saw them many times in downtown Saratoga and Schenectady and every single time Rocco made it a priority to come talk to me, my bridesmaids and family members. "Funk Evolution is in a league of their own. My husband and I live in NYC and are a part of the Broadway and Television industry. We grew up in upstate New York and ended up having our wedding in The Adirondacks.
When I tell you that this band "nailed it," I really mean it. What a gift to find a band in upstate that is better than anyone we have seen in NYC. Our friends are still talking about the funk band, the sexy squealing saxophones, and "The Tameka" who sings her face off in every song.
